Thanks for the suggestions. The knob is pushed in. The wiper door is up and you cannot push it back down. Very stiff. Do not want to break anything.!!

Along with my electrical issues, the wiper door stays up all the time. Engine on and off. Hopefully just a loose vacuum line??

Thanks for the reply. The car has a new mini high torque starter. The alternator was tested on the car with volt meter. The car has factory manifolds.

Engine is slowly coming back together. There were many components that were incorrect when it was opened up. Looking forward to getting it finished and on the run stand.
