Did you use the stock muffler hangers in the rear or did you have to "wing it".

I have the pipes but no hangers. Not sure how many to use either, all responses, as usual, will be appreciated.

Tired of waiting on them! Anybody else carry these? I may have to bite the bullet and pay an arm and leg for custom exhaust.

Remember I have sold this car and "I dont want to pay a lot for this...

I just removed these from my 72. They need re-chromed or jet-hot coated, but they are otherwise in good shape.

MAKE OFFER. Moving, dont want to haul anymore than necesary.

On what my 72 convertible is worth. I have to sell!!!! Moving!!!!

Its basically rebuilt from bumper to bumper. Good paint and excellent interior.
Good softop and hardtop also. Numbers match,...

Well, kind of. I replaced my Hooker sidemounts with a set of Dynomax jet-hots. Still need pipes and mufflers yet.

Just fill it up to the hole. And yes, that stuff can stink! I always add a bottle of limited slip additive to the fluid. 4oz size.

I use a "Mighty-Vac". Dont know what I Paid for it, but it wasnt to expensive. Comes in handy for many little jobs.

Bought mine at the local parts store.

I put thread dope on my temperature sending unit and then wondered why the gauge didnt work! Wont happen again i'll bet! :D

Temp guage went off charts

Well, test run #2 on my engine rebuild went well, except for the temp guage which pegged itself to a horizontal position. Pointing toward 3 o'clock. And that was before the engine had time to warm...

A soft felt gasket! About the size of a 50 cent piece, and an 1/8th inch thick or so.

Distributor maybe?

I did put new weights and springs in!

My car is alive again! Thanks to all who helped.

My winter project is done. I had to rebuild the top end of the engine, due to broken valve springs. New intake, modified carb, new weights and springs in distributor, roller tip rockers, new plugs...
