Just need one skinny spare key, no fob, so when I throw my gym bag with wallet, phone, fob in the hatch and shut it, I don't have the "oh sh&t" moment. I got lucky once, but not counting on twice....

Hmm, I often do get the 3 beep with key on console & works as expressed. This time the key was in back inside near a taillight & I "think" I did get the 3 beeps but she locked up tighter than a clam....

Locked fob in & was able to unlock hatch with fob inside???

So like the title, I threw my gym bag with fob in the hatch & closed it. So every opening is 100% lock, figure I am F%$#@! and phone is also in bag. Well I tried the doors & NG. Same with hatch...

Please do not conclude "the rack has failed". This msg is "normal" if it's occasional & clears after a short drive. If persistent (and no other symptom happens) it's likely the SENSOR not the rack.
