The L92 heads have casting numbers of 823 or 5364.

What are the head casting numbers on your LS3 heads? They're still just L92 heads with the lighter valves right?

Also, is the LS3 intake actually just a L76 intake?

You won't have to wait long, since the LS4 came out in 2005. ;)

It's a 5.3 V-8 and used in the Impala SS, Monte Carlo SS, and Grand Prix GXP for 2005-2007 so far. :yesnod:

Maybe the G5X4 was ground wrong or it was installed without being dot to dot, so it's a tooth off, and advanced or retarded which it shouldn't be.



If you're VD custom cam is close to the MS3...

Usually bigger cams don't make less power than smaller cams. What are the specs on the VD custom grind? (or close to)

I've heard that the ETP's make a little more power and you don't have to flycut the pistons with any cam that will fit the stock...
