Well I have an A8 2015 z51 and I haven't had any problems. I have 51000 miles and haven't done anything. I'm not having any problems with the transmission.

I have also parked my vette on a military base when I go to work. There's a lot of noise like sonic booms arty etc.Half the time my alarms been set off. I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm not disappointed at all. I traded in my C6 for a new 2015 3LT Z51. The only complaints I have so far is the hood closes like my C5 did and I miss the auto latch for the hatch.
