When i did mine, the passenger side wire went up behind the starter and was held by a plastic clip into the firewall. I tugged on the wire and the clip came off.

Also, check for cracks at the reservoir fill neck. If cracked, it will not hold pressure and will run a bit hotter, a bit of steam can be seen from the filler neck when hot.
