A set of gm fast burn cylinder heads,comp cam ,headers and a good dual exhaust.And you will be there and a little more 300-325ish.

Id have a shop raise the cowl scoop on your existing hood. Ive done it before on a 73 and it was easier than fiiting a new aftermarket hood---wish i would of took pics.
