Have to disagree, the tiles are not slippery at all, a painted floor would be a lot more slippery than this. Itīs solid granit tile which is used in public areas.
And if you have water heated floor...

If itīs only one plug fouled then itīs probably not a break in problem. Could be the intake gasket thatīs leaking, sucking oil from the inside/under the intake.

I had the same problem but I have aluminum heads and the holes for the rocker arms studs are drilled through into the intake runners. Using thread sealing fixed that problem but if you have iron...
