if they machined your flywheel AT ALL, then keep it. never use a machined flywheel (on the lt1/4). :nono:

my 388 will be 11.5 compression. designed to run off 93 octane, but ill be using 94 anyways. Theres a whole deal on dynamic compression, static compression... so many little things to consider about...

spacers are not bad. When mounted they are basically an extension of the wheel creating a new offset. In extreme cases they will affect wheel bearings .

I had a 4.09 installed in my 93 about 5 years ago. Used a speedo gear, no pcm calibration. 5 years of abuse, theres a slight wine but its gettin rebuilt before my motor goes in.
