I have LS6 intake, throttle body, rail, and exhaust manifolds ill sell all for $500. All came off my 02 Z06 with 27,000 miles except the exhaust manifolds they have 18,000 miles.

I was gonna go the same route and buy tools to do it myself until I saw some of the torque specs required. Ill stick to doing the simple ford 8.8's. They're simple like me.

You can swap springs without removing the heads....

You can swap springs without removing the heads. I've done it several times just use an air compressor to pressurize the cylinder and hold the valves up. Also if you do heads get a set up used L92's....

Keep the current engine and just swap the valve springs. It's not too hard. When you decide to build the engine you can make a lot of power with the iron block engines. Some guys reuse the stock...
