tach is off. .HELP!!

So I got the motor in and running but my tach is way off. The car at idle is showing 4k on the tach and revving the motor up takes it up higher yet and then sticks. It will slowly come back down tho....

I have them on my 79. No fitment issues but one thing i had to do was have the next pipe bent slightly up to get the exhuast to run parallel with the car.

Mako is right. stick with good heads. I bought the Dart shp aluminium heads and they are built really well. I should know how they perform this weekend as I'm getting ready to fire it up.
