tach is off. .HELP!!

So I got the motor in and running but my tach is way off. The car at idle is showing 4k on the tach and revving the motor up takes it up higher yet and then sticks. It will slowly come back down tho....

I have them on my 79. No fitment issues but one...

I have them on my 79. No fitment issues but one thing i had to do was have the next pipe bent slightly up to get the exhuast to run parallel with the car.

If I take the red wire from the solenoid valve and hook it to one of the 2 posts on my new op ps and then run the other remaining wire from the ps out of the tranny to a positive wire with a toggle...
