Does ANYONE have any pictures that show the same issue I have? I've spent a while searching, and either it's just people saying they have paint issues in the hatch and no pictures or they have pics...

So I took it in to the dealer and they said that GM denied it saying that they believe some sort of cleaning chemical was used inside the hatch and THAT caused the paint to come off. I really am not...

Yep, Carfax is clean.

It doesn't look like spray paint to me. I just had the windows tinted and even the guy tinting it says he see's "all" (probably not all) of them have this issue.

Since the dealer is 500 miles away, the only real chance I have is if they'll pay for a local dealer to fix it, or if it's somehow covered under the bumper to bumper or because it's Certified.

Terrible paint in hatch?

I picked up my Z over the weekend and after I got home, I noticed some really bad paint work inside the hatch. Unfortunately that was after driving 500 miles to get it home.

It's used and has 13k...

edit: Oh, and the bigger plenum for the engine and redesigned underpanel for the hood, also to help cooling.

I suggest if you have a (good) friend that knows how to drive manual, have them drive the car off the lot, then go someplace quiet to practice on. I'm sure you'll pick it back up in no time.

C6 GS was my first manual. I pretty much learned how to drive stick on it. I had some practice in a VW Beetle a few months before that, but that was it. Overall I think it was a great car to learn...
