You are correct, that is connected to an angled fitting. I've tried a wrap on the fuel line in the past, but it got eroded by the fuel. Maybe need to look at a different type/brand. Will look into it...

Once the car was turned on - it sucked all the ATF throughout the car and by the time I tried to move it....none.

The control arm is bolted in place on the chassis. Looking at the pictures - doesn't seem to be a problem with the arm.

Would it make more sense to question the positioning of the radiator?
