C4 heater core replacement

I am trying to replace the heater core on my 85. Have dash out and able to pull out bottom of cover. Can't get top screws of cover off. Any suggestions appreciated. This is a real "bear".

Replacement of C4 heater core

I am replacing heater core on my 85. Have heater core cover loose at bottom, can pull out partially. Can not get to top right nut. Any suggestions? Have 85 Shop Manual but not very detailed.
