That won't work, the '85-'88 plenum has the two small holes and the one on the left would not be covered.
'89 and up plenum does not have a small hole on the left side.
The SLP runners would cover...

You can actually see the blade close after shutting off the engine.
It sets there at fast idle then turn off...

I have tried to buy a new replacement one and none of them fit right.

There is no port on the left side of the plenum for the small tube, unless they have been welded up.
