Im sure your problems are ground related. I would guess the current is going thru the other bulbs to get to ground. I found that many crazy electrical problems in our c5s are ground related good luck

The vacuum line from the rear of the intake manifold goes thru a harness. It looks like a wire, find it and check that its not rotted or broken. It worked for me,,,,,,

I did mine without removing the manifold like in the you tube video, if I were to do it again I would just remove the manifold replace the sensor and clean everything up nice

I used a pair of vice grips on the torque shaft....

I used a pair of vice grips on the torque shaft. There is a rubber plug for inspection, remove the plug and you will se what you can do. I got this from a member and it worked for me ........
