When injectors are lower then 16 they are shot...This is most of your problem.But your are controlling a roller cam engine,with different cam specs, with an old 85' 870 ECM. the 85' ECM fueling...

No JR ,both had the same clutches and band setup, the TH700r4 was updated in 1987,since then they changed the production name to 4l60.They added the auxiliary valve body and minor design changes...

Since you have your engine rebuild and freshly mounted into your engine bay,you need to set the timing at 6 degrees mechanical ,as said above.That said, you need to adjust the base idle as x factory...
