Something to keep in mind too is that it looks like the suspension is at full droop in that picture. With the car sitting on the ground you'll have more clearance between the A-arms and shocks.

Had the exact same issue, used plenty of Techron additive and still wouldn't fix it. I guess my sending units were that corroded. Replaced the drivers side sending unit and all is good!

I guess it depends on your definition of drop in....

I guess it depends on your definition of drop in. physically it fits just fine but you'd need to go with upgraded valve springs and pushrods.
