I think I have researched this pretty good. I look and looked for test that only did one thing and that was to replace headers. They are out there just takes some looking. I doubt if I found them all...

something that is offen over looked with stiff steeering is the steering shaft u joints. the best way to check them is to disconnect the shaft from the ract and see if they are tight.

see if you have 12 volts on that wire if you do...

see if you have 12 volts on that wire if you do pull the cap off inside the cap you will see 2 fine wires coming off the pick up. check these wires good wiggle them and check for breaks in the wires...
