first motor build and i need help...

What's going on guys, I am doing my first motor build and kind of messed up a little bit. I was installing a new camshaft from comp, and after I got it in I realized there was no dowel pin in the end...

Finally figured out the problem... the wires on the fans were opposite and they were blowing on the radiator instead of sucking the air out... lol

What's going on guys..? I have bought 2 hoods so far and both of them did not fit correctly.

the two I bought were the, "RK sport ram air" and it fit ok but not perfect. it would hit my headlight...
