I love my elims. I just went to a local muffler shop, had them cut the mufflers off, then cut the stock exhaust tip off the muffler. Then welded in a piece of tubing where the muffler was, and...

Re: Tires, Tires, Tires ????? (Whitvette)

I've tried Yokohama's on my '87, and they were just okay. My '95 had SZ50's from Firestone. I did alot of research prior to buying, and for the money they cannot be beat. I got mine from the local...

Re: Learned something new about batteries last week (vetteseniorcit)

In my experience with batteries (which is extensive, I used to be a DC power engineer with Sprint), the AGM batteries are not a better battery at all. They do provide more power in a smaller...

Re: Best $75.00 I ever spent (KY Vette)

It's loud enough that my wife can hear me leaving the house when she is in the shower! I'm almost afraid I'm going to get a ticket. I know the neighbors just LOVE me now. :blueangel:

Best $75.00 I ever spent

Went to the local budget muffler shop on Saturday to have the mufflers eliminated. They did a great job, and only cost me $75 bucks!! I also had them extend the original exhaust tips...

Re: Cleaning the aluminum driveline components-is there a better way than... (edsalinas)

I've always used glass beads as a medium. The pitting it leaves is so small the wire wheel, and the scotch brite pads will polish it right up.

Do '95's have a steering problem????

My '95 makes a clicking sound like something is wrong. It only does it when the wheel is pointed straight, and I just turn it a little, barely enough to make a steering adjustment. You can feel it...
