Recently on my car it stopped transferring fuel. The gauge showed half full but the car was running out of fuel. Blownbluezo6 setup a small pump that transfers it did away with the siphon setup.

I think they have a pump that pumps the fluid back to the front of the trans. The pumps and spray bars that people add spray directly on to the gear stacks to ensure they remained lubricated.
