Anyone thought about using one of these to make 1000 reliable horsepower? I know it is a heavier block, "cast" not aluminum, but it sounds good to have the extra reliability at 1000 plus horsepower.

Now that the temperatures have dropped into the 70's, it is nice driving weather. Cold weather should hit here around late December.

Again, you are confusing quick with fast. The coupe is faster "stock" than the Z. All other areas, the Z is quicker. That is why I chose the coupe when we purchased ours. I wanted fast not quick.

Braking, cornering, road track, 1/4 mile, goes to the Z.

The coupe is more aerodynamic period.

The trick is to decelerate back to 70 mph...

I agree with you completely. What my point is , is that start both stock 02 cars at 160 mph and see which one pulls away. It will be the coupe, IF they have the same hp.

The AERODYNAMICS are superior with the 2002 Coupe due to the rear window being laid back compared to the 2002 Z06. Thus,,, with the same hp the Coupe would be faster,,, not quicker,,,, but faster....
