Would definitely recommend either the standard GM fluid or Prestone dot 4.

Do the ranger method every time you get gas until it looks clear, and you’re good 👍🏼

I wonder what you would see if you added a quart...I’m guessing this isn’t a dry sump setup so if your getting less pressure drop in taller gears, I believe this has a bit to do with g-loading in 2nd...
