Thanks A26B for the reply, I appreciate it. I'll take a look at the oil pressure switch too. I'm not getting oil on the floor so it must be a minor leak, it's burning off the exhaust manifold.

I'm not sure if it's feasible, but if possible try bypassing the switch with a jumper wire and see if they work. If they're both not working it sounds like the switch.

When you get the new mast remove the old one and compare the length of the ribbon that protrudes out of the bottom. If the lengths are the same the ribbon isn't broken. Hopefully that's the case then...
