Wouldn't he have to be sure of rotor direction (clockwise) and which distributor hole is #1 ... but a manual would have it...Haynes, Chiltons...not to mention the hundreds of other valuable items in...

Good reason to run a guage, light, alarm,...anything that will let you know there is no pressure...how many people drive around with one eye on the oil pressure guage?

On my 81, the choke lite works on more than just the choke. I couldn't pass smog with the choke lite on, so it had to be fixed. Can you run the diagnostics by the ashtray? :flag

Can a bubba do a runout test at home on the car or is it a machine shop test? With rear brakes sucking air, this could be useful. I saw Sears has a tester on the shelf for $32. thanks :flag

It worked !! The outside key would turn but not open the door, the electricals did nothing, the inside lever did nothing and only by working the knob inside did it finally come loose. I am sure it is...

My 81 shop manual lists valve coner torque as "45 lb-in" ...I don't have a torque wrench in "lb-in", so what is that in foot-pounds? Too small for my wrench? Using Edelbrock cast covers, so won't...
