Stiff Shifter

I have a MGW shifter in my ZO6. Its the 20% reduction model and it has been excellent up to now. I went to 2 HPD events and both times after 20 minutes the shifter gets stiff side to side. So much so...

Your helper obviously bottomed out the lifter. Start again from scratch. 1/4 turn after seating is usually the measure.

Very easy, pull out from bottom on each side of steering wheel, disconnect harness on each side, disconnect ignition button. That's it. Vendors of the carbon fiber dashes have posted illustrations....
