I check in here myself..I kept my C5 in the family in 2013 [son].. Moved to Florida, but Corvette is a drug you can't re-hab from..:D

I recently sold my slightly modded C5 for $14,500. It had 70k and 2 new runflats.. The buyer paid asking price because he could see that the car was taken care of and garage kept.

If your shop knows C5..then that's cool, make...

If your shop knows C5..then that's cool, make sure they know how to lift the car...check rear tranny seals..but not many '97s have that problem, if I recall..

Optima Red Top = free.

Our car lot got a camry in with an Optima in service date 10/11.
My A/C Delco was slightly older, researched the 75/35 which is a correct fit
changed it out today....

C5 is a safe car to be in if you have a wreck, those frame rails protect for real.
