I have an 84 also and the fuses are not the same...

I have an 84 also and the fuses are not the same for all C-4's. The circuit for the locks is the same for courtesy indoor lights, cigarette lighter and radio. I believe it is a 10 amp fuse...hmmmm...

So...with everyones advice weighed appropriately, my plan of attack o the overheating issue was as follows:

1. check dipstick for signs of gunk as well as radiator.
Done, all clear, whew......
