Check the fan as some of the other posters had suggested. Then work backwards--fan relay, fusible link, fuse (there is a coolant fan fuse in the fuse box).

Thanks, guys. It looks like I don't have self-aligning rockers. The guide plates aren't massive. They do appear to contact the pushrod (I can see wear marks on the pushrods).
