1959 corvette ran out of gas now not running good

Hello,

I have a 1959 Corvette. I ran out of gas and ever since it has not been running right.

It dies and shakes. I think it is a carb issue. Any suggestions?

Also the brake like blinks...

About 6 years' now. In my opinion and everyone elses(win 99 percent of the car shows I am in) that the color combo of white silver and red is the best. Love it!!!!

I looked for a conversion kit on PAragon and one other site. One said the oil filter is blue and one said white....

Should I just convert to the screw on oil filter. Probably would be easier on future changes. The car looks original but no one is looking at the oil cannister

I have a 1959 C1 Corvette. I always drive it with the top off. It does not get out much(mostly take to shows), but I noticed some carpet fade(especially in the center). Not bad at all...
