I did it for one year and let it go. I just did not see an additional $195. on top of the plates. Interesting part is you get to keep the Personalized Plate and not have to turn it in.

I got a complete set of polished with about 50% tires for &700. If that will work for you. Bought some chromes and took mine off with 20,000 miles. Very good condition.
