best way to check the condition of battery is to do a load test... most places that sell batteries have a tester to do this..... battery has to be fully charged .. i prefer to leave battery off...

thanks everyone for replying ... my tire size is 255/60/15... just took her out on the highway at 60 mph looks like about 2725 rpm's... if i had a higher ratio rear end i assume this well bring down...

my 74 vette with 4 speed standard shift ..... at 60 mph my tack registers 2800 rpm's ... it seems to me that the engine is turning to fast at highway speeds .... would like some opinions on this...

i refinished my seats last year.. i used electric tie wraps aswell as the hog rings to attach the covers to the foam...hope this helps

was wondering if a 1982 front and rear bumpers fit a 1974.... i like the shape of the 82 over the 1974..... i'm going to replace my bumpers so would like opinions on this as well as what type flex or...

I would get the battery load checked to make sure its good and not discharging itself .... if the battery checks out next thing to check is the alternator, sometimes they well discharge the battery...

your problem is that your pump shaft is not...

your problem is that your pump shaft is not aligned with the distributor ... use a flat screwdriver to move the pump shaft into the correct position..... the rotor well turn as the drive gear is...

I installed 1982 seats in my 74 ... recovered them with leather ... found them to be much more comfortable seats than the original 74 seat and needed no mod to install

I installed leather covers in my 74 .... replaced my seats with 1980 cause i like the feel and comfort of these seats over the original 1974 seats....there's nothing like the feel of leather.... well...
