I went with an Optima Red Top as my last Red Top...

I went with an Optima Red Top as my last Red Top lasted 14 years, even after absolutely killing it by leaving the satellite radio on when putting it into storage for 3 month when it was 7 years old.

They fit fine. I have them on my 2000. I used 20mm spacers on the rear to bring the rear tires out flush with the quarter panel.

I just put some NON-Z51 C7 wheels on my C5. The rears need a 20mm spacer to fit properly. It looks great. The base C7 wheels are the same size and offset as the base C6 wheels.
