:iagree: Me too. It is not driven in the winter , here in PA. Too much salt and crap on the roads. I know a Vett mechanic still working (He is around 70 ) , and he prefers 10W-30 in the LT1 .

I use black silicone repair .. Sorry , don't remember the name, but got it at Advance Auto. I have repaired various cracks, and is holding up well.
Then treat it with dielectric silicone grease.:)

My 92 is a solid ,no rattler, with the top on. With it off, cannot notice the rattling that may or may not be there, as the wind is prevalent. The Top on makes it a more solid ride. I am very happy...
