Don't get so upset man. It sounds like you want a nice NA engine for track days, but I can tell you, modern TT engines are well cooled and hold up just fine.. plus you won't have to worry about C6...

GTLM cars qualify at COTA around 2:05, I believe. A very fast driven C7Z runs low 2:20s. C7ZRs can hit high 2:10s, like 2:17s. We won't see a production corvette run low 2:00s any time soon.
