RIP. I remember reading about him in the mags back in the late '80's. He helped guide the Corvette through some real tough times. I appreciate everything he did.

I would think it would be faster turn around and cheaper overall to by a spec car already done. There are T1 and T2 older cars and GT1 and GT2 cars out there. I would not waste my money or time...
