Another update...

The company doing the replacement is buying the glass from *my* Chevy guys, and they are both (the glass company & dealership) full aware that it's an '02 Z06.

I contacted my insurance company and they will replace it under my comprehensive (0$ out of my pocket).

I am worried about getting it replaced due to the factory seal,...

Ok - I'm not a waxer or anything, but I have a problem. I picked up a rock in my windsheild today and it put a quarter size divot in my windshield!

My insurance covers glass, but what I'm worried...

Strange - I'm used to my new cars using a little during breakin, and after all the talk about the Z06's buring more then their share, I've watched mine VERY closesly. It hasn't used a drop in 1,100...

Something to consider - The lightning off the line stands a good chance with a ZR-1 for 2 reasons:
1) It's got an automatic trans
2) It has a *BUNCH* of torque - 440ft lbs

Every ZR-1 owner here...
