No the cables aren't long enough to cross them anyway. Yes bad batteries do happen for sure, but all is good. What a nice surprise as opposed to what it potentially could have been.

Guys I'm not new to cars. The battery is good! Put on charger before installing out of an old habit. Windows, locks, radio, fan all work great with plenty of power.
