My 05 C6 has done the same thing since I bought it used in 2008, I now have 108,000 miles and it did it again today. Haven't found anyone with a good answer yet.:crazy::lol::cheers:

My hard shift turned out to be a rebuild and main shaft upgrade. 3 grand later shifts great. Mine had 90000 mi. so I would get it done under warranty if I were you.
