I switched my 1976 to manual steering back in 1982 when I put the big block in it. Never regretted it.

Not to hijack your thread but my 76 is doing the same thing. Changed MSD coil and 6AL box, checked wires and it still does it. Frustrating isn't it.

Trying to find a place to start looking. My Vette will run fine but on occasion will just quit. Lights work and there is no sputtering like it was running out of fuel, it just quits. It wont restart...
