No, I went to the city to look at a BMW when I got there it was sold. Looking around with the lovely wife we found our C4.i have had it for about 3 years now and i'm happy.

If the top will not fold down or come off (as in old Austin-Healeys) then its not a real sports car.:D
I can not imagine owning a Corvette that is not a vert.

Motor oil switch ?

Every car/truck/what ever that comes here gets changed to 0-40 synthetic diesel motor oil.
I have been following this practice for 10 years with no problems.

How reliable and accurate are the electronic gauges in the 84-89 Corvette?

My 87 speedometer is accurate according to my GPS. as far as I know the rest are accurate enough with the exception of the avg. fuel mileage. The conversion from L/100 km to mpg. is way out.

Probably the first place I would check. These drain plugs are not the best in the world,they tend to break down and leak just from age.
The good part is they are cheap and easy to replace.
