Thanks for the replies. The casting number is GM 3970014 with the code E 6 74. The tube that was in there, that was super tight, measures exactly 3/8 with a digital caliper.

Dropped the pan and it turns out it was the gasket that was the problem. The metal grommet that is in each bolt hole was missing from the corner that was leaking. I exchanged the gasket for a new one...
