If you look at the inside cover (or first 1 or 2 pages) of the "Heart of the Beast" you will find a pretty good 2D shot of the LT5 emblem.

This is the pattern I scaled in CAD to engrave the first...

Pulling the LT5 plenum is far overrated as difficulty goes.

I would say it is easier than pulling the upper plenum and runners on a TPI car.

While all these suggestions for GS wheels are well meaning, they're not answering the question at hand.

I have a close up photo of what I'm told is an actual Active emblem.

It came from one of the engineers working on the project at the time.

If someone wants to see it - or even better, post it...

I was pretty sure I knew the car from your description, but until the link was posted I was hesitant to speak up. See above.

If I'm not mistaken this one was at Corvette City in Manchester NH...

Although you wouldn't think so, the early ones are very year specific.

GM lists 2 specific harnesses for 90 (w/ & w/o Auto A/C), '91 is different from those 2, and then '92 yet again (traction...

Re: Fuel gauge not working (fhturner)

I have pretty much convinced myself that the fuel gauge will not decrement properly if the mileage calculator is left in the "Range" mode. Put nearly 300 miles on the car, and it only dropped 1 notch...

Misc LT5 Questions

Hi.

I have a couple of trivial questions that I thought somebody here might know the answers to.

1. Some LT5 water outlets have smooth sides (top & bottom), whereas some others can be seen to...

Just a few comments, I don't have all the answers by any means, but I think I can clarify a few things here.

First of all - as you probably know most of the boost control modules are nothing more...

Re: ZR1 Twin Turbo (Rkreigh)

Without spending a lot of time belaboring the math - the tensile forces that the rods are subjected to at the 7800 or so RPM's that the LT5 will rev to are far harder on the rods than the additional...
