I had the same probelm, vacuum also a liitle on the low side so I couldn't get a smooth lean idle. Found intake warped. '60 2X4...

Sending unit sold by CC description states 0-14 ohms. Research here shows it should be 0-30 ohms. I ordered one from Wilcox and it is 0-15 ohms(looked into this when my guage only goes to 1/2 full...
