I'll be at the Minter Field standing mile event in Shafter CA on the 9th. I'll have to miss the Coalinga one tho, the California Hot Rod Reunion at Famoso is this weekend.

It will deteriorate a foam brush in my experience. Also, if you use a hair style brush, buy the best. Anything less and you will be frustrated picking individual little hairs that come out the brush...

That and it would be missing the date code tag on it, so don't forget to have that reproduced for whichever radiator you go with. I'd think any judge would notice that right away.

I have always just done the thing where you try to rotate the belt by hand and I make sure it won't twist more than 1/4 of a turn, or 90 degrees.

I put one on my 56 but only while I was tuning then removed it so it didn't affect under hood appearance. You certainly don't need it there all the time.
