Jan, look on the lower passenger side rear of the radiator. It will not be a "petcock" like you may be used to seeing. I believe it takes like a 1/4" sguare. Try a rachet extension.:thumbs::thumbs:

No, remove the headliner and it is held in by 10 small bolts. I believe the are 7mm.:thumbs::thumbs:

I run into alot of corners where 2nd is too low and 3rd is too high.

The pink/black wire should be a hot wire with the ignition on and the green wire just runs from the gauge through the temp....

You just have to use a little common sense and beaware of the draw on...

I just checked my original '62 can. It has one ear and the head of the bolt is marked "M". Don't imagine that helps you much though.

Was the ear(ears) there just to hold the assembly together...
