Jan, look on the lower passenger side rear of the radiator. It will not be a "petcock" like you may be used to seeing. I believe it takes like a 1/4" sguare. Try a rachet extension.:thumbs::thumbs:

The pink/black wire should be a hot wire with the ignition on and the green wire just runs from the gauge through the temp....

I just checked my original '62 can. It has one ear and the head of the bolt is marked "M". Don't imagine that helps you much though.

Was the ear(ears) there just to hold the assembly together...
