2 things to consider. Make sure your alignment is dead on. You can get away with running the radials up front, but you will need to run as narrow a tire as possible...like a 225 40 or 215 45...

I believe that each successive gear has less line pressure...eg. 1st= most and 4th (OD) has the least. I always run the best ets in 3.

I run 17#s air in my 315x30x18 DRs. That seems to work the best for my setup. They are on 18x 10 3/4" wheels (custom widened)

Sorry to hear of your problem.

A few things you might want to consider before you scrap the TC.

I assume you have the PCM configured for the 3.73 gears, you might want to try reprogramming it...

Actually MT recomends a 9" wheel as optimum for this tire. But they will tell you an inch either way is satisfactory. Most F-body guys run 16x8 F-body wheels with these 10.5s, as this is an...
