I had the same type of noise, and when I got home, popped the hood, grabbed the crank pulley bolt (harmonic balancer) and it was less than hand tight. :ack:

I had a similar problem. The dealer found an internal short in the EBCM and replaced it. Fixed. (was under extended warranty, luckily)

This is correct. There is no load on the motor when you are revving it at idle which puts much more stress on what is mentioned above.

Doing it with cold oil temps just makes it that...

Z51 sways won't get rid of the side-stepping issue...or even staying really that flat on cornering. It will give a little less body roll.

You need to ditch the lame stock leaf springs and grab...

Supra Turbo = 315 ft/lbs torque stock. And it was well known that the V160 Getrag 6-speed tranny it came with easily supported 500+ hp/torque without any long term issues.
