At least in the 2008 and 2012 models, both the cigarette lighter and the accessory outlet in the console remain hot all the time. They even caution you in the manual about leaving things plugged in.

This ought to be standard on all C6s with the NPP exhaust. It is so easy to install or de-install that it allows you to keep your C6 all stock, yet you get to enjoy the sound of the performance...
